The Surf camp

Our Surf camp South Africa options are located in the surf resort towns of Jeffreys Bay, Cape St Francis, Cape Town, East London, Durban and Southern Cape.

The area receives consistent swells from the Indian Ocean and provides great surfing all year round for both beginners and more experienced surfers. The waves just go on and on in perfect right-hand point-breaks, which are said to be some of the world's best.

South Africa is not only famous for its amazing surfing. It is also the land where you can meet lions and elephants in their own backyard. We wouldn't want any of our guests visiting this amazing country to miss out on these stunning experiences. Therefore, guided visit to a safari game drive is recommended for all guests.

Jeffreys Bay is situated just 35 km west of the gateway city of Port Elizabeth, where airport pick up is offered by all our accommodation. With its unique combination of beautiful beaches, endless summers and relaxed lifestyle, Jeffreys Bay has a true surf atmosphere. After a great day of surfing you can hang out at many of the local surf bars or stroll on the beach and comb for rare and beautiful shells.

Temperatures are moderate all year round along the coast with rain scattered throughout the year. The summers (October to March) are warm with a very temperate humidity level. Winters are mild and pleasant with good surf year round.

Surf school

The surf school has some of the best surf instructors in South Africa..

Surfari is a great option for more experienced surfers and some of surf schools offer this option. Your surf guide will tell you all about the spots, how to get in and out, the currents, type of wave, etc. You will also receive feedback on how to improve your surfing skills. As most Muslims go to Mecca, surfers should come to this area once in their life!!!

The following is included in the surfari:
